We loved this place! We got there right at feeding time. The wolves searched all over for the hidden food and found it quickly! The bears also had to search out their food. They also had some trial trashcans there to see if they could keep out the bears. The staff was helpful and friendly. All of the animals were easy to see while being in a natural environment. You are able to get quite close to the animals.

Looking for a fun and educational day out? This small wildlife park is a hidden gem that’s perfect for animal lovers of all ages! Whether you’re snapping up-close photos of majestic grizzly bears, watching wolves roam through their habitat, or admiring the powerful grace of eagles, there’s something awe-inspiring around every corner. And don’t even get me started on the otters — they’re playful, adorable, and absolutely steal the show! The staff here are incredibly friendly and passionate about wildlife. They’re more than happy to answer questions and share fascinating facts about each animal, their natural habitats, and the ongoing efforts to protect them. It’s a great opportunity to learn more about the importance of conservation — especially for kids. There’s nothing quite like seeing these animals up close to spark curiosity and a love for nature. The habitats are thoughtfully designed and well maintained, giving the animals space and enrichment while also offering excellent viewing areas for visitors. You can really tell the animals are well cared for, healthy, and thriving — which makes the experience all the more enjoyable. Whether you’re a budding wildlife photographer, a family looking for a meaningful outing, or just someone who loves animals, this park offers a unique, memorable way to connect with nature. Don’t forget your camera — and maybe pack a few extra memory cards!

Not a zoo but a refuge for animals who wouldn’t have had a chance if they remained in the wild The wonderful team at the Discovery Centre give these animals a second chance and nurse them back to health, if they have suffered injuries in the wild, or simply provide a safe place for them if their natural habitat in the wild had become too dangerous for them or those living nearby (one of the bears, for example, got too used to being close to humans which isn’t the best for the bear or the humans) You can tell the team there really care and also provided showcases throughout the day to allow you to learn more about the animals or even how to safely use bear spray! The animals are also given activities to do throughout the day, such a forage for food throughout their enclosure, so that they retain some of the skills they would need in the wild and keep their minds active through stimulation Beyond that, it’s such a privilege to these magnificent creatures so close up

Definitely worth a visit. You can enter and exit as much as you want with one ticket in two consecutive days. The price is ok, they do a good work in sheltering the animals that can't be released in the wild. The Ground Squirrels are so cute. Have you been so close to a bear before? The wolfs will come right up to the glass to watch you. That's really amazing

Great informative wildlife center with bears, wolves, birds of prey, and otters. The wolves were pretty much sleeping the whole time we visited, but all the other animals were out and about. All the animals are previously injured wildlife that could not be re-released. The cost was reasonable and allows you to return anytime within 24 hours. Prepare to be outdoors as all except otters and fish are outside viewing.
