What an amazing experience at the Grizzly & Wolf Discovery center in Montana. This was a huge highlight of our roadtrip! Such a beautiful and well managed place for these majestic animals. The view of them is incredible and so close, we were not expecting them to literally be right in front of our faces! Highly recommend this place if you are in the area! Also bought some things from the gift shop since all proceeds go to these wonderful animals!

Fun place to visit. We came in February so the ground squirrel and bird exhibits were closed. 2 bears were available to watch along with a bunch of wolves, otters, and trout. Relatively small, so I wouldn't plan on staying longer than an hour, if that. I appreciated that they had "warming stations" and indoor viewing areas. It would be a bit miserable to stay out in the cold the whole time. There are feeding and "enrichment" times listed on the daily schedule. It's also nice that admission is good for 2 days to return again

The Grizzly & Wolf Discovery Center in West Yellowstone is a fantastic place for animal lovers and anyone interested in wildlife conservation. The center offers an up-close look at grizzly bears, wolves, and other native species in a safe, educational environment. The exhibits are well-maintained, and the staff is knowledgeable, providing insightful information about the animals and their habitats. It’s heartwarming to see how the center works to rehabilitate and educate the public about these incredible creatures. A visit here is both fun and informative—definitely a must-see for families and wildlife enthusiasts!

Wonderful little zoo in west Yellowstone. They rotate grizzlies every hour or so allowing you to see multiple animals in your trip. No birds during the winter but wolves were active.

It's great - you get close-up views of grizzlies and wolves, without having to look through a fence. And the very knowledgeable staff are a wealth of information! They know each animal's history, and can explain their behaviors both there and in the wild. Plus you learn how bears and wolves fit into the environment. You see the animals in a whole new light once you understand them better. A really worthwhile stop for anyone visiting Yellowstone.
