Hardscrabble Ranch is a guest ranch only thirty minutes away from either Bozeman or Livingston while still isolated from the bustle of human activity. At the base of the Bridger Mountains on Brackett Creek, you can enjoy stunning views of Ross Peak and close access to Bridger Bowl.
Groups up to twenty-four can stay in the Brackett lodge and Bridger lodge. Each Lodge has comfortable beds, shared bathrooms, well-equipped kitchens and large common areas. We ask for a minimum two-night stay,
Seasonally, we have 15 glamping tents with comfortable king or twin beds. They are tucked away along beautiful Brackett Creek, providing a serene experience with nature.
The venue includes an outdoor pavilion style cooking area and fire pit as well as access to our 45 acres of Brackett creek frontage with fishing and 20 acres (over 2 miles) of hiking/biking trails. We also have a wood heated 4800 square foot barn for access during the cooler season, after nightfall or in case of inclement weather. We have ping pong, foosball, cornhole and horseshoe games. We also provide an onsite instructor for ax throwing. There are also a ton of hiking, biking, fishing, rafting and of course Yellowstone National Park nearby. Hardscrabble Ranch is home to dogs, pigs, chickens, yaks and horses.
Our venue is a perfect place for a weekend wedding experience, family reunion or corporate retreat. We have high speed internet and an on-site planner.
