The Murray Hotel is an authentic western hotel with modern amenities located in the beautiful and historic destination town of Livingston, Montana.
The Murray Hotel has remained a consistent attraction in the heart of downtown Livingston, Montana since it first opened in the summer of 1904. In keeping up with the ever-evolving guest expectations when it comes to hospitality, The Murray has been tastefully renovated down from fifty-two rooms in the building proper with today's vision of the hotel containing twenty-five guest rooms and suites, plus a few offices.

Each accommodation has its own bathroom, modern heating/cooling amenities, and access to the hotel's WiFi network. Suites are more spacious with the majority of them having a separate sitting area for relaxing or entertaining guests and a kitchenette for either sharing a cup of coffee in the morning or a glass of wine at night. The Murray holds great pride in its decor which focuses on providing warmth and comfort for those who stay here but still maintains a nod to the timeless heydays of easy-going cowboys in the Wild West and the railroad tourism of the twentieth century which originally breathed life into the cozy little town of Livingston. There is no standard room look at The Murray; every room has its own style to make each more inviting and memorable for our discerning guests.
Our varied Queen Suites have all been expertly designed and decorated to provide the most comfort and quality for our guests. Perfect for a quick weekend getaway, each suite has a sitting area for entertaining and a comfortable sleeping area for getting the perfect night's sleep. Most of these rooms are pet friendly!

We have four Deluxe Queen Suites in-house which are perfect for if you're traveling with a friend on a Montana fishing trip. They're also nice for a small family if you'd like your youngins to have their own bed but not be too far away. Like all of our suites, the Deluxe Queens have a kitchenette and separate sitting area for entertaining. Most of these rooms allow pets.

The second biggest suite-type in the hotel is our Double Queen Bed Apartment Suite that is a condo away from home. This room is excellent for a double-date night between friends, or a little drop-in visit on a road trip with the family. Comprising two queen bedrooms separated by a cozy living area, a bathroom and a galley kitchen, this superior suite is often requested because it's a great space to stay and entertain. Not approved for pets.

Our newest and third largest suite in the hotel is our Two Bedroom Queen Suite. This room is excellent for a double-date night between friends, or a little drop-in visit on a road trip with the family. This room offers two private rooms each with a queen size bed, two private bathrooms, a comfortable living room, and small kitchenette between the bedrooms. This is a corner room that overlooks Park and Second Street right next to the iconic Murray neon sign with views of the Crazy Mountains and The Depot. Not approved for pets.

Named after director Sam Peckinpah, "Peck's Place" is our largest suite and offers the best space for family & friends to celebrate & commiserate. Peck's has a king bedroom, two full beds, two showers, a clawfoot tub, a full kitchen, a dining room, a balcony that looks towards Livingston Peak and a view of the grand Livingston Depot. For over 100 years, The Murray Bar has been the cultural heart of this funky little town. To this day, it is the busiest, most hoppin’ bar in town for the simple reason that it is a hell of a lot more fun to eat in a bar, than drink in a restaurant. The legendary Murray Bar, enough said.
The Murray Bar is proud to serve several prized microbrew beers on draft, most of them brewed in Montana! Montana is the home to many prized favorites, including a couple brewed right here in Livingston. We also offer a selection of domestic and imported beers by the bottle.
The Murray Bar is situated right between two of Livingston’s acclaimed restaurants: The 2nd Street Bistro and Gil’s Goods. For lunch or dinner, you’ll find something amazing to enjoy.
