The Space
So many artists we know (ourselves included) find themselves moving art projects from place to place in their homes as they toggle between living and creating. For those of us with designated home studios, art-making can feel a little isolating. Some of us just need some external accountability, and some want feedback. Ours is a space meant to address both the chaos and isolation that are part of being a maker of any kind. Whether you come to connect with people in the space, or just to work, you're welcome at Wheelhouse.
Hours
Open Monday through Saturday, 2:00pm - 8:00pm. Closed Sundays.
Classes
We offer all sorts of specialized classes ranging from stained glass to scientific illustration to face painting.
Events
We host a variety of public and private creative events in our space, with special rates for nonprofits and community organizations.
Mural painting
We have a combined 15 years of mural experience under our belts, and we're invested in getting more people involved in public art. We paint murals, teach muraling, and consult on murals.
Design Studio & Think Space
We run a small design shop out of our studio space. We're also in the process of building out a design-centered collaboration space in our front room. More to come!
Photo Studio
Our space can be booked for professional photoshoots! We have photography backdrops in a variety of colors, lighting and diffusers, camera equipment, and props on hand.
